Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Included. 1st Edition. First edition first impression. Original red cloth boards are in very good condition with lightly bumped corners and a few small spots of discolouration. Previous owner's name to FFEP dated 1943, otherwise extremely clean throughout with no foxing, marks or inscriptions. Original second issue dust jacket has small area of loss of approximately 5 mm to top corner of rear panel, 25 mm closed tear to bottom left corner of front panel. Light edgewear, chipping to head of spine, but generally an excellent example. DJ is identical to 1st issue except for price of 9s 6d – 1st issue was 7s 6d.
